Payments
You will be required to demonstrate that you have a suitable system in place to record payments.
This includes having a suitably qualified person to administer employee remuneration.
You need to be able to provide a register of all your workers employed and those present on the date of inspection.
Your payment records need to show:
-
that workers have been paid according to their employment agreement.
-
dates and intervals of payments
-
notification method used to ensure workers know when they have been paid
-
method of payment
-
payment amount
Payment records must be securely stored for seven years and accessible to workers when individual payment information is requested.
TIPS:
-
Include payroll training in relevant role induction
