You must have evidence of regular salary/wages transfer to your employees, at defined intervals (for example, their signature on payslip, bank transfer), according to their Employment Agreement.
Zespri recommends that all employees are provided with a detailed payslip.
It’s important that your employees understand their pay, so they must sign or receive copies of payslips/pay register that make the payment transparent and comprehensible for them.
Your Inspector will check that these are available to your employees.
You must also be able to show your Inspector records of regular payments, and that they are kept for at least 24 months.
